In New Zealand, a retirement village is typically designed for older adults who may require some level of care or prefer an age-restricted community. A lifestyle village, on the other hand, is generally for those still fully independent but seeking a relaxed, community-oriented environment. Amberley Country Estate is a retirement village for residents aged 65 and over.
