Amberley Country Estate welcomed its first residents in late 2022. We aim to be a community for retirees who place a high value on independence, friendships and a healthy lifestyle, with outstanding amenities, convenience and security. Marketing and Sales Manager
Hamish's focus is on finding new residents for the village and ensuring residents have beautiful new Villas to move into.
He has lived and worked in North Canterbury on and off much of his life and has held senior management roles for some of New Zealand's most well known and innovative communities including Pegasus and Ravenswood.

Hamish Ward
Project Manager
Hamish Ward, from HPA Healthcare Lifestyle and Retirement Projects, is in charge of development and construction of the villas and facilities buildings at Amberley Country Estate.
Hamish is an Amberley local with a huge passion for construction and dedication to the local community, giving up some of his spare time to be a member of the Amberley Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Steve Hutt
Village Manager
Steve Hutt is tasked with looking after the needs of our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of the Village .
Originally from England, Steve has called Amberley home for 13 years. Steve is a people person and has seen many years in public service roles. Steve is also a big supporter of the local community and gives a lot of his spare time to local causes.
Steve and his family own the famous Nor'wester Cafe and Restaurant in Amberley.
